Dr. Bronwyn Leigh from Australia joins IFWIP Board of Advisers

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Bronwyn Leigh from Australia is joining us as a Member of the Board of Advisers.

We would like to warmly welcome Dr. Leigh and her team.

We are very grateful to her and all other members of our Board of Advisers for their valuable time in supporting the IFWIP initiative.

 

 

Dr. Bronwyn Leigh (Australia) is a renowned clinical psychologist and the Director of the Centre for Perinatal Psychology, an Australia-wide network of psychologists dedicated to mothers, fathers, infants, couples and families during the perinatal period, covering: planning of pregnancy/TTC, pregnancy, postpartum and early parenting to three years.

Dr. Leigh specialises in the psychological aspects of becoming a parent, the emotional development of infants, and parent-infant relationships.

 

Dr. Leigh has co-authored the reflective self-help book Towards Parenthood: Preparing for the Changes and Challenges of a New Baby and is committed to assisting parents transition into parenthood.

 

She also provides training and supervision to health professionals working with parents and infants and developed a unique three-day training workshop which she has facilitated nationally since 2012.

 

 

IFWIP is honoured to join the team of the official partners of Centre for Perinatal Psychology and would be looking forward to working in collaboration with all the great organisations in the future.
